Detail itinerary

08:00 Pick up at the lobby of the hotel in Hanoi transfer to Hanoi Railways Station for the night train to Lao Cai
Day 2: Lao Cai – Transfer to Sapa – Sa Seng – Hau Thao – Giang Ta Chai (10km trekking, 4-5 hours trekking)
Upon your arrival in Lao Cai Railways Station in the early morning, we drive to Sapa Town which is 38 km from Lao Cai by car. Breakfast at the hotel and have a short rest then we first sneak through Sapa Market and leave the busy town behind. After few minutes, we follow untouched trail going uphill to Sa Seng village. Along the way, we stop at one of the friendly villages for a pinic lunch. Finally, we arrive in village of Giang Ta Chai, nestled in a spectacular region. Tonight, we spend a memorable night in the traditional stilt-house of a Dzay family. Dzay people are adept at rice cultivation and are responsible for tending to the manicured terraces that stretch as far as the eye can see. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 3: Giang Ta Chai – Tavan – Sapa (9km trekking, 3 – 4 hour trekking)
The beautiful Giang Ta Chai is surrounded by verdant hills and rice terraces. We enjoy a hike through lush rice terraces and along verdant hills, bamboo forest to Tavan village, home to Red Dzao and Dzay tribe, before we return to Sapa. In free time, why not wander through a local market and appreciate the laidback lifestyle in this beautiful township. Tonight you stay overnight at the hotel in Sapa. (B,L,D)
Ta-Phin-VillageDay 4: Sapa – Suoi Ho – Ma Tra – Ta Phin – Lao Cai (10km trekking, 4-5 hour trekking)
After breakfast at the hotel, we follow the untouched trails to enjoy a scenic hike to discover Suoi Ho, Ma Tra and Ta Phin villages, home to dramatic mountains and lush fertile hills and colorful Red Dzao tribe. The women here are particularly striking, with their coin and jewellery-studded turbans and shaved their eye-bows. Hiking through more stunning rural country-side and meeting friendly local people offer us wonderful foray into their way of life. Coming to some local school is a great experience, too. Our pinic lunch will be served along the way. Late in the afternoon we are transferred to Sapa to have shower and dinner before being transferred to Lao Cai for night train to Hanoi, arriving there at 5:00 am in the following morning (B,L,).
