Brief itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi – night train to Lao Cai
Day 2: Lao Cai – transfer to Sapa – Thanh Kim Village – Sin Chai Village
Day 3: Sin Chai Village – Suoi Thau Village – Overnight train to Hanoi

 

Detail itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai
08:00: pick up at lobby of the hotel in Hanoi; transfer to Hanoi Railways station for night train to Sapa.
Day 2: Lao Cai – transfer to Sapa – Thanh Kim Village – Sin Chai Village (13km – 15 km trekking)
Upon our arrival in Lao Cai railway station in the early morning, we drive to Sapa town, which is 35 km away by car. We set off to discover Sapa and its nearby villages of Thank Kim and Thanh Phu, set in a spectacularly beautiful valley and home to Tay people. We have ample opportunities to see how they live and give wonderful insights into their way of life.
Along the way we stop at one of the friendly villages and enjoy a picnic lunch. Finally, we arrive in the village of Sin Chai, nestled in a beautiful region. Tonight we spend a memorable night in the traditional house of a Dao family. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included).
Day 3: Sin Chai Village – Suoi Thau Village – Overnight train to Hanoi (13km – 16 km trekking)
The beautiful Sin Chai is surrounded by verdant hills and mountains. We set off by a hike through small villages, lush rice terraces and to the villages of Suoi Thau, situated in a region of sculpted rice terraces and home to Red Dao people, we continue our trek, before our transfer back to Sapa for your showering and then we will drive to Lao Cai railway station for an overnight train back to Hanoi, arriving there at about 5am the following day. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included)
