Angkor Preah Vihear Battambang

Preah Vihear is one Cambodia,most famous temples. Set on the top of a 525 meter high cliff on the Dangrek Mountain in between Cambodia ‘s Preah Vihear Province and Thailand’s North Eastern Si Sa Ket Province, the temple has been the site of centuries of occupation and conflict. Building started in the 9 century but most of what still stands today was built in 11th and 12th century by the Kmer Kings Suryavarman II.

Day 1: Angkor Park Tour
In the early morning, we start at 5:00 a.m to enjoy a sunrise tour of Angkor Wat with a great photopraphing opportunities and then explore the World Seventh Wonder of Angkor Wat and visit Ta Prohm Temple (Tomb Raider Temple with many gigantic roots of the trees on the temple’ s structure)
In the afternoon, we go to visit Angkor Thom (the big city) was built from 1180 to 1220. There are several monuments in it such as: South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, Preah Palilay, Elephant and Leper King Terrace
Day 2: Angkor Park Tour
Our tour today starts at 8: 00 AM for sunrise, visiting an ancient Hindu Temple at the countryside, Banteay Srey, was built from 968 – 1001 AD, is dedicated to Shiva God. Then continue to visit Landmine Museum and East Mebon Temple. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we go to visit Preah Khan Temple and sunset at Phnom Bakheng (on a top of mountain) with Angkor Wat scenery. We are back to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 3: Temple – Floating Village and Quad bike for sunset at countryside
8:00 AM, we go to visit Rolous Group (Hinduism, 9th century): “Preah Ko, Lo Lei and Bakong”. Kampong Pluk floating village to visit flooded forest, daily life of local people on Floating Village on Tonle Sap Lake. “ Great Lake”.
In the afternoon, we have a biking tour for sunset : strikingly beautiful view of the rice fields and villages under the clear blue sky turns gold and yellow at dawn and at dust. Dinner will be served at the local restaurant and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Siem Reap Anglong Veng – Preah Vihear
In the morning, we go to visit Ta Mok’ s House or Khmer rouge headquarter. The best-preserved of the KR houses, Ta Mok’ s house in town overlooks the eerie lake that Brother Number Four created himself. Leave Anlong Veng Town for lunch on the top of Dangrek Mountain by driving up mountain 18km. visit the temple site of Preah Vihear with sunset at the mountain cliff with spectacular view of Sra Em and overlooking the border to Thailand. Dinner and overnight stay at the guest house at Sra Em.
Day 5: Sra Em – Tbeng Mean Chey – Koh Ker – Beng Mealea – Siem Reap
At 8:00 AM, we leave Sra Em for Tbeng Mean Chey the downtown of Preah Vihear Province. Visit Koh Ker Temple.
Afternoon heading tour to Beng Mealea Temple was built in the 12 century, the layout and style of Beng Mealea is very similar to Angkor Wat. It is located 60km east of the main group of temples at Angkor, Cambodia, on the ancient royal Angkorian highway to Preah Khan Kompong Svay.
Day 6: Siem Reap – Battambang
In the morning we departure for Siem Reap to Battambang by our English speaking driver. On the way stop to visit stone village “ Preahnet Preah”. Heading continued to Battambang. After having lunch, we head tour to take Bamboo train to explore the village and life style of the people wich make exchange local business each other. Late afternoon sightseeing tour around town, visit Ta Dambong Kra Nhong, King Residencd Palace, Museum. We have dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 7: Battambang tour
This morning, we drive along Sangker River to Wat Slaket Pagoda, the residence of the provincial Buddhist Patriarch. Visit a Khmer Ancient House and make a stop to see the production of rice paper used for making spring rolls. Continue to visit Wat Ek Phnom. Visit a market where Prahoc, the Cambodian fish paste is made. After having at the local restaurant, we continue to visit Ponleu Selpak, this centre supports around 30 orphans and trafficking victims and is schooling more than 1,200 pupils, over 400 of who study visual arts, music, circus, drama and dance for leisure or vocation training. Continue to drive to Phnom Banon, with its five sandstone towers on top of a hill and enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding plains until sunset.
